Sadly i don't have one.

What is your past raiding experience?

Started my adventure in this game like 9y ago as a Priest in vanilla, after some hard work to get to lvl 60,i managed to get in a raiding guild where i managed to clear almost whole content till naxx40.

At the end on Vanilla i needed a break due to school exams,TBC started and i started playing again but this time with high expectation from me and from the new class class that i would play:elemental shamy. During TBC i joined a rly nice guild where i cleared the whole content will M'uru prenerf.

With TBC dying and WotLK emerging from the snow, was the perfect opportunity to rise the level of the gameplay to a higher playstyle, and with that said i decided to transfer with some friends on Outland and start with them a guild. Our progression was decent clearing 4/4 10m TOGC,3/4 25 TOGC(with 24% best try on Anub),12/12 ICC10 HC,11/12 ICC25 HC.

Cataclysm started and we rushed in for the normal kills, during that time ppl quitted the game ,and that made me apply to another guild where i managed to clear with them BoT hc(wiping on 1% immortal Sinestra),ToT4W hc,BWD hc and FL hc.
Due to school exams i was forced to quit the game for a period, after the break, i started playing again, that was happening at the start of DS. With some friends we created a rly nice grp that cleared Spine HC on 5% nerf, due to some guys RL problems we decided to stop.
With that happening i applied to a new guild, were we cleared and farmed whole DS on 25 HC selling boosts.

My MoP exp ain't so amazing because ppl went on long holydays or quitted the game: MSV hc full cleared(Cutting Edge),HoF hc missing amber shaper and empress,ToT 3/12.
With some pressure from some friends i started back raiding on this tier SoO( kinda late,i know),where i managed to get 10/14 HC.

In WoD i started playing my feral druid, where i managed to get prenerf => 3/7 HM Mythic, 3/10 BRF Mythic and 13/13 HFC Mythic(this ending with selling boosts).

Starting Legion i wanted to play something new, a lock, managing to down 3/7 EN Mythic, but playing a lock wasn't great so i decided to go back to my feral druid, that forcing me to quit raiding for a period to gear my druid.

How do you keep up-to-date about your class and spec?

The logs are there for us to judge your skill as a dps. It shows us how much damage you've taken and from what abilities. Shows us up-time on bosses, important adds, your dps and overall damage dealt in the time period. Shows skills used, pots, flasks, food buffs. They're highly preferred and a big help in getting a yes in most guilds, so just an advice from me: try to do a PuG and show us a few logs from a few of the encounters in Nighthold Smile

Hey, thanks for taking out time for filling out the application. Currently we are looking for very specific roles and specs, and at the same time people who are ready for mythic progression. But one of our old officers (Harpdarp) gave a very strong vouch for you as he probably knows you as a raider and a player and you know him too I guess. And I've checked your old logs for HFC as well and they are very impressive. I got only two questions though. First, tbh I am not sure how good ferals are in this expansion since you don't usually see them in raids. So I'm bit curious about it. Secondly how much you are willing to raid actively (our main raid days are fri/sun @ 19.30-22.30). Your current gear n traits are a bit low atm but that shouldn't be a problem we can always gear you up. I am very eager now in accepting your application but lets just wait for the answers and the new logs if possible Smile

Cheers mate.

Well in WoD ferals were like polar bears, you saw them only on TV, in Legion is kinda the same thing i think. The difference between WoD and Legion for ferals is that now we got some aoe dmg, in rest is the same sustainable single target damage output for high periods of time from what i analized from others logs.

On the raiding side, beside those 2 days i can raid for more (days/ raid time extends) for the sake of progression.

Managed to get a EN pug with a lot of ninja pulls sadly to get some logs flowing:

Time for you to write the part of your application that can get you accepted:

If you are accepted, we'll most likely adapt tactics to your feral spec, rather than force you to do aoe. Meaning, your personal dps gain doesn't matter, your gain in single target dps matters. In other words, if you gain more dmg on the boss by bleeding up other targets, then you may, but in general we will only have you on the boss during progression. Your value as a feral is based on how much boss-dmg you can deal, because all other specs in this patch deal both better cleave and AoE than ferals.

Seeing as Cyke said that he had no experience with feral druids, I'll make myself come into play. I'm looking at the logs. Do you pool energy before applying rip? Do you know why some ferals do this?

I like that you have one parry against Ursoc with rake, that's usually positive in my book, because you've most likely applied it when he was running to/away from the tanks, which shows activity. You got 2 parries on Nythendra, though...NEVER be in front! However, why isn't there 98-100% uptime on Rake on Ursoc?. You even managed to do it on Nythendra (98%+ is standard, checked Nythendra afterwards).
I'm telling you this because something went wrong on Ursoc. That fight was 2min 17 seconds, Nythendra was 3min and 20 seconds, and you only did 3.5% more damage on a fight with way more bloodlust uptime. When was the bloodlust used and did you not line up your cds with it? You can see how much your dps drops on Xavius due to the length, even though you get to aoe.

Cenarius, 6 thrash casts and 4 swipes. Explain how you got into that scenario. I know you're using Luffa - for what reason?

Trinket choices:
What are your BiS trinkets?

Talent choices:
Blood Scent over Lunar Inspiration?
Displacer Beast or feral charge is encounter dependant, but your go-to choice is feral charge for uptime on the boss. You only "need" displacer beast to get out of shit even faster, which you only need if you're slow - it costs a global cooldown to use.
Balance affinity, fair, depends, I'm using it as well. Assuming you're only doing single target, what is your talent choice in this tier then for progression?

Being able to pull 90% within your max dps is expected from any raider, but the last 6-9% are hard. If you can correct the mistakes in a new log, that would be simpler for your reply, but I need you to answer my questions regardless of a new log or not. Quick question: what was your old class/spec?

I forgot a question:

Blood Talons proc, you need to use it on a finisher + rake/shred (rake HIGHLY preferred, moonfire as a 3rd option when taken). Judging by the up-time of this buff on you, you are using it instantly on most cases and in the other few cases I don't know if you're delaying it or just forgetting you have it, or just delaying due to high energy.

Tiger's Fury, you're using it within 1 second of it coming off cooldown (except at the end of the fight). Rake doesn't last long and can be refreshed during this buff, but make sure you're using it within 8 seconds of a Rip refresh, every other Rip can deal 15% extra dmg for its full duration.

Not quite you want to always or almost all the time have Blood Talons with Rip and time it with Tiger's fury aswell (50%+15% inc dmg) (not on the shred*) same for the rake, you gonna use it on the shred when you're CP starve, but preferably you want to delay the Blood talons for Rip refresh, SR refresh, FB>Rip refresh or the Ashemane DOT.
When i'm proccing BT instanstly that means i am at a SR refresh, or a pandemic refresh thats why you're seeing procced instantly.
About Tiger's Fury usage, i do it off the CD mainly for energy starving or for a proc BT , or when my SR it's about to drop off and my bleed are almost entering the pandemic.

About the energy pooling before rip, yes i know why, it's because ashamane's bite, (you pretty much want to use as much as many generators you can to benefit from it) - still working on that to get it right.

*Shred =you'll want to use blood talons with t19 bonuses(trash generating 1cp+15% inc for shred/swipe for every bleed that is up), that's like 60%(from the usual bleeds)(+15% inc ashemane usage) +50% BT+25% TF, or maybe i'm thinking way out of the box.
On a side note there are factors that determine low dps that can be fixed easly.

Well in that pug we had 2 clueless tanks that we're fooling around or just no giving a fuck about the raid turning the bosses or  bad positions, well it's not their fault, it's mine, should have adapted way more faster.
On the usorc they were tanking him in the middle and running with him randomly making me to run a lot thats way my debuffs are low + i lost like 12s from the BL at the end for messing up the SR uptime, if you check theres a huge 10s gap between SR refreshes, there was my fault, bad management of my cds.
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/AfLmRD8GxqjybhVH#fight=2&view=analytical&type=auras&source=13&ability=52610

On cenarius they were stacking them and aoeing everything, tho single focusing was way better for me i just wanted to see how the trinket from illgynoth does on that fight.

Tbh i don't get the BiS trinket questions, what are you meaning? my best trinkets that i got in the bags or for all NH tier(because this depends on the drops i reffer here about the high level m+ or encounter wise) ?

About Blood sence and lunar, due to the crit reduction you'll gain more from blood sence than lunar, but still lunar is good for sustaining long term 2-3 target dps encounters.

About the affinities, mainly depends on the progression encounter ( depending on that is required to do, survivability, fast lock on the target and so on, it's all about adaptability)
I disagree with you on the displacer beast about using it if you're slow, there may be situation where it can be a life saver not because you're slow or fast, it's just a better choice to do.

*** Gonna post some new logs soon, to see about what i'm talking about, prolly from lfr nh, considering that gettin` a normal/hc nh pug is pretty hard without the curve nowdays

For single target, what is your best trinkets currently available in Nighthold? And if there are better for you in dungeons, which ones? Assuming all are the same ilvl.

Thanks for the heads up on the lunar, makes sense, 5% crit nerf was tough.

I'd just like you to stay focused on getting high boss dmg. Thrash costs a lot, I haven't done the math, but going from 160 to 175% dmg is only an icrease of 9.4% dmg, and you're taking a shred away (even more, thrash is 50 energy). I haven't done math, so feel free to enlighten me. And the pooling of energy is alright, I'm not on either of the teams just yet, as I haven't looked at ferals since...forever. Unless it's a high health priority target, then you don't even have to pop bleeds on it Smile

All in all, thanks for your replies. I'd like one encounter more with you on 100% boss dmg, doesn't matter which Smile
